What Does Addicted to Art stand for?
Hi, I am Florian Marc Lazzari
Some people know early on what they want to be: a millionaire, movie god, or rock star (yes, that’s a Fight Club reference).
I wasn’t one of them.
I started editing images as a teenager and developing film at 16, but I never thought of it as anything more than a hobby. What I did know was that I wanted to learn, explore, and create. I’ve never been good with numbers, and while I always wanted to paint, I also kinda lacked those skills so I did the very next best thing.
How It Started
Studying art was a natural next step, followed by media school in Innsbruck - a path I stumbled into while simply wanting to make music videos for friends.
Then came the first wedding. And the next. Before I knew it, filmmaking had become a part of who I am.
Over the years, film has given me more than I could have imagined. Today, I get to give something back by creating films that allow couples to relive their most meaningful moments, again and again.
Calling film my passion doesn’t quite cover it. As the saying goes, “Only those who have no other choice but to create something - are truly capable of making a film.”
That’s what Addicted to Art really means to me.
